#repostober #day 13 yyaayy #deltarune #undertale #gaster #wd gaster #what inspired this was an old dadster painting i saw that drew the skelefam as realistic skeletons and depicted gaster as #a skull without teeth #so i looked up what a skull without teeth looks like and !!!! look its uncanny!!!!!!! i had to draw him like that #i love looking at this cus while drawing it i was in a super nostalgic mood and listened to a bunch of my childhood songs (in my native)#so while this could be interpreted as me trying to draw something scary #whenever i look at it i immediately feel the warm fuzzies i felt while drawing it and listening to songs kid me liked #to me this is a drawing of a childhood friend #anyways jhdks..#i tried to make the triangle shape under his head in the og sprite his rib cage #sort of morphing and contorting out of his melting body #also i tried to make the body of the sternum of this rib cage (the piece between the two sets of ribs) look like his soul #just some details i liked about this :'))))

the leverage team would have had a games night… once. everyone cheated so much and in such increasingly extreme ways that all mentions of monopoly are banned in their headquarters (this makes talking about marks who monopolize the market very confusing)

#leverage #nate wouldn’t cheat but he’d be by far the most annoying still. like he’d conduct a whole Scheme to win and give a little monologue wheneve #he made a good move and everyone would want to kill him #parker woukd obvs be stealing money & cards and she’d move their pieces and swap their stuff #but also she’d try to use her turn to rob the bank #sophie would use neurolinguistic programming and dominate the board w properties #which somehow parker would literally never land on and that’s incredibly suspicious but none of them really know how she could possibly be #manipulating that fact? it’s logically impossible bc they’re watching her roll the die and move the piece and sophie knows which properties #she owns so it makes no sense. but parker is parker and she simply will not be caught (even by sophie’s properties)#hardison has studied monopoly theory (yes there are math theories on how to play monopoly) and /tries/ to abide by them but again. sophie i #manipulating him and parker is stealing from him (and sometimes oddly enough *for* him. new money ends up in his bank somehow) so it’s hard #so eventually he resorts to cheating like Everyone Fucking Else and does pretty well bc he rlly does know what sets he wants etc.#eliot is genuinely playing normally. no cheating no math stuff no schemes.#but he’s just sitting there fuming the entire time bc they’re all very obviously messing with the game and he Knew this was gonna happen bu #goddamn hardison & parker especially know how to get on his nerves (often purposely)#he calms down by making some snacks and. resorting to also cheating lol.#leverageposting

Lan Wangji has always certainly been trying to protect Wei Wuxian #it took him a long time to figure how to successfully do that though #rereading the books rn and noticing theres a lot of instances that could be read as lwj being frustrated over his inability to protect wwx #like he seemed ready to cry when wwx went missing for a while and then came back with the cursed leg #lwj has always been great at protecting wwx from physical threats (ex: waterborn abyss) but had no idea how to protect him from himself #meanwhile wwx has always been instictually good at saving lwj from both #like I'm 100% lwj would've become like Jiang Cheng if wwx hadn't snapped him out of the blindly following authority thing #and also like... 15 y/o lwj wasnt happy with his life. he was lonely and stressed and literally signing up to be flogged whenever he goofed #wwx is who allowed lwj to grow up by showing him what it was like to actually be a kid (shown in story whenever lwj gets drunk)#he led lwj to having a more flexible mindset. and it both let lwj relax and set lwj up to be a better parent #looking into lwj's dynamic with the juniors- he lets them break a fuck ton of the petty rules and encourages them to question authority #he also teaches them to not be married to any one meathod of problem solving #wwx is also able to save lwj from his own stubbornness #ex: carrying lwj when he broke his leg. getting lwj to cough up bad blood. getting lwj to keep the rabbits #wwx also tends to give lwj the words he has trouble saying himself. helps him communicate #wwx also protects lwj in fights a lot but thats narratively less important #except the various times wwx puts himself in danger to help lwj. those times are what made it so lwj could never move on from wwx #like with the cave incident #or when wwx helped surpress the arm instead of using the chaos to escape cloud recesses #tldr i guess: i think this fandom tends to treat lwj being the best like its natural to him when really wwx accidentaly rewired his brain #I'm looking directly at fanfic writers who act like the Lans would've treated wwx better than the Jiangs #lwj had to do so much work and self reflection post meeting wwx to be the way he is. he is not the sole product of the Lan teachings

i think ur joking but i was in fact asked this before and no i wasn't already an expert on platypuses before i got into pnf. i just really like perry so i started researching them. and they're cool! would love to see one someday, even though it's unlikely.

Idk his true feelings on the matter but personally I don't blame Oliver for speaking positively about what has been decided to be done to his character who he is going to still be portraying in the future, he has to be supportive of it.

i'm gonna be honest and say i genuinely don't care what oliver has to say anymore because he hasn't been consistent with his opinions and i fully believe he may have had a hand in writing tommy off the show based on his complete disinterest and lack of advocacy for bucktommy in recent months and his most recent interview. idk what happened on that set, if anything happened, maybe he and lou really haven't been able to find a common ground (which tells me more about oliver than lou because lou has made friends with everyone on set except oliver apparently) and if that really is the case then oliver's apparent lack of professionalism is simply disappointing. lou was excited about this storyline and he tried so hard to make it work on screen, he was surprised that it got cut short, and oliver on the other hand sounded like he couldn't wait for it to be over. if he really cared about buck he would've stuck with it because buck is now back to square one, that part of his character development went down the drain, so, yeah, i don't care what he has to say because to me it looks like he doesn't really care about buck when his personal opinions about someone/something get in the way of quality storytelling 🤷‍♀️

#whenever my meds kick in it feels like im gonna piss myself. not literally but its really really feels like it #and now whenever that happens my mind goes back to pancho (grandmas dog) at a xmas party years ago #bc he peed when we arrived bc he was so excited to see ppl and my cousin had to clean it up :o)#well for better or for worse i know that feeling now when im pumped on 20mg of adderall #im still getting used to this whole diagnosis thing cause ive gone untreated and undiagnosed for the longest time. so theres probably a lot #i still dont know and have to learn to get myself to be.. functional on my own? self managing????#i even set up reminders on my phone for work periods meals and stuff. but the problem is actually getting myself to stick to that to a T #because the minute i slack off or something gets in the way it throws it all off until i can be bothered to get back on track. it sucks #at least ive built up other habits like writing notes and setting alarms ahead of time.. but i feel like i could do better #its always hard to change something if youve been doing it wrong for the longest time. especially behaviour and thinking patterns. sigh #in other news my glasses bailed on me so i have to get a new pair sometime. i just realized i never draw my sona with glasses but thats #mostly bc i forget. id love to get some browline glasses like my old pair but im picky and its hard to find one id like for the next 5 year #i also finally managed to collect all the fish in my animal crossing file!!! pulled out a char last week and boom now i have a poster :o)#THAT was a moment where i almost peed myself for real. id love to get all the bugs but i cant stay up late on the switch :o(#yapping #my art #myart #doodles #personal #diary

Actually I can't stop thinking about Tim gaining a bit of weight during her time as Persephone and it's killing me now

#she's been an immortal for so long she has no idea how she looked before the lunar war #she was 3-4 years younger and matured during that time despite the starvation #and she probably got a buzzcut when she was drafted but nobody kept up with hair regulations bc they couldn't see each other enough #for them to be enforced #After she first got mechanized the eyes were just one of the many parts of ger body she didn't recognize #and it competed in importance with the weight loss and aging and new scars and more #But when she sees herself at a healthy weight as Persephone bc she hasn't had a complete death in so long that she's managed to hold weight #she just cries because she thinks this is how she must have once looked #though her memory fails to give her any confirmation. she can only guess #she sees in the mirror a person who didn't feast on the corpses she could find #and she can pretend she actually Is Persephone- not Tim #that she's lived a happy olympian life and has never died and that she doesn't occasionally unwillingly salivate over brains in the acheron #and the worst part is she Knows this is temporary #her fantasy and joy is limited #limited until the day she doesn't throw a grenade far enough again or the day she annoys Ashes enough to set her on fire #she can't stay this way for the eternity she is so damned to #and once she does experience a full body reset it's an uphill climb to regain that weight again- if she manages to not die in that time #it's the inevitability of it all that really gets me #and also Ashes obviously thinks Tim looking healthier- well taken care of- is hot as fuck. tho they think Tim always looks hot as fuck #but they don't understand why she freezes when they run a hand along her chest now- unable to even feel her ribs unless they press down #or why she starts making flimsy excuses to leave whenever they offer to take her out on their arson runs

theres just so many interesting things you could do if you staged chimes of midnight tbh....

#two actors for edith (older and younger) and having the older sing behind other dialogue #separate actor for edward grove so when he possesses shaughnessy the two actors speak at the same time #to be honest you could have two actors for just about everyone except maybe the doctor #and probably not shaugnessy since he doesnt die. but whenever the others die have understudies either play the corpse or stand around in the #background outside the lights. so theyre just visible but clearly shelved #as the mystery gradually becomes clear slowly have the older edith shadowing the staff as they say things that were said to her #the screams when the older edith is explaining - just have younger edith and mary and mrs baddeley and whoever else offstage and scream with #with their mics off - then you get a surround sound effect too - esp if you have them offstage behind or to the side of the audience #YOU COULD HAVE A DOLLHOUSE IN THE PARLOR WHEN THE DOCTOR'S CALLED UPSTAIRS TOO #itd be even more effective if you showed it at the beginning #maybe as the audience is filtering in you just have the lights up on that set so they SEE it yk?#then once everyones seated have the lights go off suddenly (maybe even play the theme song)#idk how youd do the jam jar im not a theater person. maybe red fabric for the jam that can 'spill' all over charley in a concerning looking #way (that can look like how edith looks when she kills herself) but that doesnt necessitate a costume change or any sort of cleanup for the #stage itself. BUT. the problem is the jar. i wouldnt want to use breakaway glass bc 1) cleanup 2) id want to have something you could put #back together quickly that would be indicative of the time loop #but again im not a theater person so i dont know stuff maybe that would be easy and you COULD use breakaway glass. or whatever im NOT a #person who knows really much at all about theater #ari opinion hour
